Professional education, not an emergency service
ILA is a professional association, not an emergency dispatch operator or a local locksmith service. Do not use this website to report an immediate threat to life or property. Articles provide general educational and editorial information, not advice tailored to a legal dispute, building, vehicle, customer or financial decision. Verify current rules and manufacturer instructions with the relevant authority or qualified professional. We do not warrant that any particular security product or procedure will prevent every incident.
Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully and honestly. Do not impersonate another person, submit misleading applications, seek unauthorized access, disclose customer security secrets, introduce malware, overload services or attempt to defeat access controls. Authorized security research must avoid harm and unnecessary personal-data access; report concerns through the security category of the contact form. No blanket authorization for penetration testing is granted.
Accounts and submitted material
Keep sign-in links and session access private. You are responsible for information you submit and should have authority to share it. You grant ILA the limited permission necessary to process your inquiry or administer your membership. You do not grant ILA permission to publish a private message as a testimonial. Account access may be restricted for misuse, security concerns or violation of applicable terms.
Intellectual property and links
ILA branding and original website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may link to articles and use legally permitted quotations with attribution. Reproducing a substantial article, implying endorsement or using the ILA logo in business advertising requires permission unless otherwise permitted by law. Third-party trademarks remain their owners’ property. Source links are provided for context; they do not establish a partnership, endorsement or control over another website.
Availability, responsibility and disputes
We aim to maintain a useful and reliable website but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or freedom from every error. To the extent permitted by law, ILA is not responsible for indirect losses arising from reliance on general educational content. Nothing excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
